The first cycle ended a tick ago and things are looking OK, all things considered.
Strategic
- Plan remains unchanged. Work with Gilgamesz
- Suppress Ktoc/Dust with a view to eventually taking over this territory.
- 2nd on economy, 6th on ships, 3rd on stars. Fine fine fine.
Diplomatic
- Gilgamesz and I have agreed a territory I can take where we can trade. I have Pathfinder Squid inbound and hope to exchange Terraforming 2 for Experimentation 2 at the end of the cycle.
- No word from Dust. He didn't see my message before his ships defeated my carrier but it certainly looks to me like an intentional block. I think I slipped up in one of my messages to him and gave away my intent to stop them two allying. I didn't directly reveal my plan but I skirted too close to the truth and he might have made the logical jump. Clumsy wording.
- I've asked Darrow if he's interested in cooperating against Ktoc.
Tactical
- General Bison has been hired to defend Visya. His +3 weapons should help hold the star for a long time with my starting ships and mean that I don't need to prioritize Industry as fast.
